Biography
Siobhán has a undergraduate degree in Journalism with French from the Technological University Dublin. She started her career as an intern on the early morning breakfast show Ireland AM before becoming a researcher for several political, current affairs and entertainment programmes on TV3. She became a current affairs producer for the ‘Tonight with Vincent Browne’ in the lead up to the 2016 General Election and continued her work as a producer of ‘The Tonight Show,’ a political panel programme before moving to RTÉ Radio One to work on the weekly programme ‘The Business.’
Throughout her broadcasting career she has covered key moments in Irish and International history such as the Marriage Equality Referendum, Repeal of the Eighth Amendment, Trump’s Presidential election and Brexit. Siobhán speaks English, French and has cúpla focal of the Irish language too!
I enjoy yoga and gardening in the evenings and at the weekend I like to hang upside down in aerial silks.
Cuba, I loved being in a place with such an interesting history that is still unfolding. It is a place that is completely alive and I enjoyed its energy, mostly in the form of salsa and rum!
Anyone who volunteers their time and energy to others who are vulnerable and in need of extra help.
A run always lightens the load and helps me take a step and approach the situation with a clearer mind. If I am deskbound grounding my feet and taking a few deep breaths also helps!
