Communication and Public Diplomacy

Democratic practice and good governance in an ever-evolving digital landscape demand dynamic communication strategies. GDSI, with its long-standing expertise and innovative approach, appreciates the power of communication to shape, engage, and influence diverse sectors.

Our expertise lies in leveraging the strengths of both traditional and digital media to engage diverse target groups, stimulate dialogue, and, ultimately, create a more informed and engaged community.

GDSI is at the forefront of the #EUzaTEBE - the most extensive EU communication campaign in Serbia, targeted at increasing public awareness about the EU. As a part of the project, we've successfully orchestrated a series of captivating, innovative, large-scale communication campaigns to emphasise the EU's essential role as Serbia's leading political and economic partner, highlighting the benefits and responsibilities of EU membership and increasing understanding of the EU accession process.

You can make more friends in two months by becoming interested in other people than you can in two years by trying to get other people interested in you.

We were also responsible for the EU's Public Diplomacy project in Russia during the war in Ukraine - a time of deep political turmoil and complex international relations. During this period, GDSI's Public Diplomacy was one of the few remaining means of connecting the EU to those parts of Russian civil society that share EU values.
