Biography
Lilia Marinova – studied International Relations at Moldova State University, is a native of Moldova, fluent in Russian and English and is learning the Italian language. She has worked in the area of regional development, public administration, grants and project management.
Before joining GDSI Limited, Lilia’s background was working for non-governmental organisations and in public affairs at the U.S. Embassy. Lilia has extensive experience working in an international environment and enjoys learning from different cultures.
What do you like to do in your spare time?
I like yoga, reading and also discovering new places and new cultures.
What is your favourite country you have visited?
There are still a lot of countries to visit, but most of all I like Italy for the good food, best gelato and great people that I met there.
Who inspires you the most?
My parents, who always supported and motivated me. They both are examples of being wonderful parents, people and professionals.
How do you deal with stressful situations?
I try to get to the bottom of the issue troubleshoot it, and then find a common ground that’ll allow to move forward.
If you could witness one moment in history what would it be?
I enjoy being in this moment of history. We still witness past history through literature, museum, or visiting places.
