The overall objective of this assignment is to support the European Investment Bank and the European Commission in the fulfilment of Ocean and Waters Mission objectives by identifying and advising project promoters aligned with those objectives, with the ultimate goal of providing financing opportunities to innovative blue economy project promoters.

The assignment is planned to start in October for the duration of one year.

We are looking for a Key expert with the following profile:

Key Expert 3: Finance and modelling (Category III) (approx.130 days):

Qualifications

• At least a Bachelor’s Degree in economics, finance, business administration or a related discipline

General professional experience

• At least 5 years of experience in banking, corporate finance, and/or equity investment, including international experience

Specific professional experience

• Hands-on experience in carrying out consultancy assignments, including financial modelling and drafting of business plans and investment memoranda, as evidenced by 5 previous assignments
• Prior experience in the blue economy would be considered a distinct asset.
