About the assignment:
The objectives of the advisory assignment is to analyse the long-term sustainability of the Investment Project of the University and to define appropriate technical structures, optimal for the project characteristics.
The “Alexandru Ioan Cuza” University Investment Project in Iași proposes the revitalisation of the spaces in the centre of the university space and in the proximity of the central bodies of the university, building A and building B.
The development of a network of university services dedicated to students will allow it to become more accessible and attractive by achieving optimal conditions for construction, modernisation and rehabilitation, as well as for research, academic and didactic development and recreational activities for students.
Technical advice provided will cover:
- Advisory support on project prioritisation, suitability, eligibility and project’s alignment to overall EIB/EU policy objectives;
- Advisory support for Energy Efficiency improvements and sustainability aspects for the investment project;

Expert Profiles:
Key Expert 1: Team Leader (Category II) Qualifications | At least a Bachelor’s Degree or an academic equivalent in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering or related disciplines |
General professional experience | At least 10 years of experience in engineering and construction |
Specific professional experience | At least 5 years’ experience in civil engineering and project management and/or senior leadership. At least 3 assignments in the education sector with universities or education institutions, providing technical support similar to this assignment |
Language and Other Skills | Working command of the English language (CEFR C1) Working command of Romanian language will be considered an advantage. |
