GDSI is invited to submit a proposal for the entitled tender under the contract within EIBAS Framework Agreement to provide services for the project: 

QUANTUM FINANCE LAB WORKSHOP

The assignment is aimed at building a networking platform and promoting events to gather the relevant stakeholders in the field of Quantum technologies and accelerate the identification of relevant innovative projects, supporting their preparation toward potential financing through financing advisory assistance or other means of support. The main activities will include the provision of advisory support under InvestEU AH, coordinating with relevant stakeholders in the Quantum technologies ecosystem (including EIB Services, EC, financing institutions, companies and public institutions) to identify participants and projects, promote dialogue and facilitate promoter’s access to finance. It is intended that such expertise will be brought by one long-term Network Coordinator (key expert I), complemented by on-demand support from Quantum technologies experts (the team of key experts) and other non-key experts.

The project is to start in November 2023 for a duration of 13 months.

We are looking for experts with the following profile:

Quantum technologies experts (team of key experts) (category II)

Qualifications

  • At least a Bachelor’s degree in Physics/Engineering or related areas.

General professional experience

  • At least 10 years of relevant professional experience in areas like research and development, innovation support services, ICT-related research and innovation, or digital technologies.

Specific professional experience

  • Professional experience in the field of quantum technologies or closely related technologies (e.g. semiconductor technologies) will constitute an asset.
  • Expertise in companies developing innovative projects in the field of quantum, high-performance computing, semiconductors or a closely related field will constitute an asset.
  • Prior experience working in or advising an International Financial institution (EBRD, World Bank, etc), investment or commercial bank, consultancy or similar, specifically in relation to innovative projects will constitute an asset.
  • Prior experience in technology evaluation, startups analysis and market assessment in relation to innovative technologies, evidenced by the number of projects and the relevance of the person’s role in relation to the projects will constitute an asset.

Language Skills

  • All candidates proposed shall have excellent knowledge of written and spoken English (CEFR C1)
