Igor holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design from Karagandy State University. He started his career more than thirteen years ago as a designer in a local entertainment magazine, and in five years advanced to the position of a lead designer and acting Art Director of the print design department at a leading design studio in Kazakhstan.
Igor’s portfolio includes projects in newspapers and magazines design, websites and mobile apps interfaces, visual identities, information and motion graphics, illustrations and promo materials for web and print, and other types of products.
What do you like to do in your spare time?
I play guitar and read books on neuroscience. When the weather allows, I go hiking or riding a bike with my friends.
What is your favourite country you have visited?
I have not travelled a lot, but every country has its own charm. So far Georgia and Ukraine are my favourites.
Who inspires you the most?
My friend and former colleague Daulet. He is an amazing graphic and industrial designer.
How do you deal with stressful situations?
It may sound strange, but stress helps me to concentrate on important things, and thus disentangle quickly.
If you could witness one moment in history what would it be?
Moscow Music Peace Festival in August 1989.
